In celebration of the new Batwoman series here on the CW South Florida, Sunday nights at 8, we are honoring every day heroes in our community. This week's Get Your Cape On winner is Dr.Katina Kennedy.
Dr. Katina does it all, she treats her patients like family and has written two books on sex education for teens.
"I'm passionate and energetic about what I do," said Kennedy.
Dr. Katina also has a non-profit organization, the All About Healthy Living Foundation, which hosts “health parties” for teenagers and adults. Through these parties she awards college scholarships.
