Time to focus on two great community events, the first being the Tour de Broward at Miramar Regional Park. This bike ride and walk raised more than $700,000 to expand programs, services and facilities for kids and parents at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.
In it’s 11th year, Tour de Broward has raised more than $5 million overall for pediatric healthcare here in South Florida.
"I've been wow'd all morning long with the patients, the families, the staff, and the community," said Lotsy Dotsy, Clown at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital.
More than 800 community leaders packed the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel. Non-profit organizations were honored and awarded grants in 11 different categories.
