The Miami Heat are coming off a very disappointing week and road trip during which they lost two straight to the lowly Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks. It’s a head scratcher and it’s the first time this season the Heat have lost consecutive games. The Heat blew a lead in both losses.

The most troubling loss was the one to the Knicks who snapped a five-game losing streak.

Heat coach, Erik Spoelstra said, “This is not our first rodeo. We do not need to panic. We do not need to reinvent the wheel.”

The wheels have not fallen off and the good news was that Jimmy Butler returned from back soreness to post a total of 72 points during the 3-game road trip.

Up next, a return home just for one game to host the San Antonio Spurs before heading back to the road to visit the Thunder and those Spurs again.
