For the first time in Super Sunday history, two Latinas, Jennifer Lopez and Shakira, headlined the game’s halftime show.

At the Big Game's Halftime Show Press Conference in Downtown Miami, Jennifer Lopez and Shakira promised to bring the heat to the Big Game.

"When we finished the first run through, Shakira looked at me and said 'that was amazing,' and I said 'you were amazing.' She said 'It's different what we do.' I said it was very Shakira and very Jennifer. That's what you are going to get from the performance, it's a lot of energy and very entertaining," said Lopez.

"We will all be remembering Kobe on Sunday and we will be celebrating life," said Shakira.

"It affects us and it will affect us forever. Hopefully, we will remember this moment. What we are trying to do is spread love and kindness and bring everybody together," added Lopez.

Lopez and Shakira also said their Super Sunday Halftime Show will pay homage to Latino culture, promising a joint performance that has an empowering message.

"The Chiefs and The 49ers are run by women and you got two women headlining the halftime show. That statement alone is empowering. When I think of my daughter, when I think of all the little girls of the world to be able to have that and see two Latinas doing this at this time and in this country is just very empowering for us," said Lopez.

Jennifer Lopez and Shakira put on a phenomenal performance during the Halftime Show and everyone has been talking about it since.
