Four former Miami Dolphins players, who have their own restaurants, are teaming up to tackle hunger during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Click the video above to see John Offerdahl (Offerdahl’s Off-The-Grill) helping to feed first responders and people in need.

He has been joined by Don Shula (Shula’s Steakhouse), Kim Bokamper (Bokamper’s Sports Bar & Grill), and Bob Brudzinski (Bru’s Room Sports Grill).

Dolphins owner Stephen Ross donated $250-thousand dollars to help these ex-fins keep their restaurants open and employed while also feeding the community.

But now they need help.

“We’ve been giving over 10,000 meals a day to South Florida, specifically, the vulnerable communities, to hospitals, and Healthcare workers. The need is much greater. We can’t meet the need every day,” said Offerdahl.

Nonprofit organizations can ask for meal kits by emailing feedtheneedsouthflorida@gmail.com.
